Acoustics By Design was brought in by Kingscott Associates to offer comprehensive acoustical consulting for the new Gull Lake High School in Richland, Michigan. Services included room acoustics, room shape and finishes, HVAC noise control, and noise isolation. We used sophisticated software to model the room in 3D and predict its acoustical attributes. From there we engineered custom solutions to fit the needs of the school. Our final report included specifications for the Band Room, Vocal Room, Practice Rooms, Cafeteria and Platform, Drama, Media Center, Gymnasium, Tech Ed, Art, and Grand Corridor.
