Design Plus
Design Plus provided complete architectural, engineering, interior design and furniture procurement, and food service consultant coordination services, working closely with University representatives from Aramark, on this 14,500 SF renovation of the Laker Buffet and lower level food court into “The Fresh Food Company,” the addition of an “Einstein Bros. Bagels” operation, expanded food court servery and seating, as well as storage and support areas. Administrative offices for Dining Services staff were also improved and expanded. The project was completed in August 2003 for a total construction cost of $1,279,000. Total project cost including signage, asbestos abatement, furniture, artwork, and food service equipment was $2,220,000.
