Design Plus

Design Plus provided complete architecture, engineering, interior design, site, and construction administration services for this two-story, 27,422 SF building, built in downtown Holland. The building features office space for several tenants and its attractive exterior is well-suited to existing city architecture, constructed with a brick veneer over metal studs and drywall, and a pre-engineered metal truss roof with Loadmaster deck system and asphalt shingles. Minimal on-site parking is provided, as well as an interior courtyard that provides daylighting in the majority of interior tenant spaces. Other tenant amenities include service kitchens, a fitness center, and attached garage. The project was completed in December 1999 with a total construction cost of $4,459,000, and it won the Associated Builder & Contractor Award in 2000.
