• the streetscape concept emphasizes the artistic and pedestrian character of Eastown through a series of sculpture plazas and gathering spaces • infill development is proposed to reduce the visual impact of large parking areas and to create a more pedestrian-oriented sidewalk to building relationship • the master plan was developed through a series of intense public workshops and individual interviews with key stakeholders • the plan was completed within eight weeks to comply with funding requirements
