Pine Grove Learning Center

Project Description

Pine Grove Learning Center is a new school for severely impaired students. The school will be a "center program" which means the building is being built by Kent ISD and operated by the Special Education experts of the Grand Rapids Public Schools.

Building Facts and Features:

- Serves approximately 70 students, ages 5-26

- 49,000 square feet

- $7.2 million construction cost

- Completion Summer of 2009, with Fall enrollment

- Spacious rooms and hallways to accommodate extensive specialty equipment

- Sensory room and garden

- All classrooms have access to kitchenettes and office areas

- Therapy pool

- Ample bus parking and loading areas
