Concord Park Place

EllisDon

EllisDon was the Construction Manager for Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Concord Park Place.

Phase 1 consists two 28-storey condo towers. This development has four levels of underground parking with over 1,180 spaces. The amenities include: badminton/basketball court, fitness gym, yoga/pilates room, theatre, billiard room, cards room, party rooms, a lounge, two pools, one hot tub with steam rooms and a karaoke stage. The streetscape features retail stores.

Phase 2 includes one 16-storey condo tower, one 12-storey condo tower, retail space and a row of 11 townhomes. The amenities for these buildings are constructed under the previous award for phase one of Concord Park Place, and consists of a badminton/basketball court, fitness gym, yoga/pilates room, theatre, billiard room, cards room, party rooms, a lounge, two pools, one hot tub with steam rooms and a karaoke stage.

The exterior materials consist of window wall, aluminum and metal siding, brick and pre-cast concrete. It is a concrete structure and includes a mechanical penthouse. Mechanical and electrical services include in suite dual function fan coil units.

The unique challenges of this project include the total square footage of the site for five separate buildings. Regular communication was maintained with neighbouring McDonald's, Canadian Tire, IKEA and GO Transit Lines. The structured permits with the authorities for each phase.

The unique feature of this project is the steel art sculptures and an art map wall as part of the site plan agreement with the City.
