Triangle Associates

Triangle added 300,000 square feet to the East Kentwood High School Campus. This project includes a new community pool, an updated 1,600 seat auditorium, two new student centers, a new football stadium, renovations to physical education stations and the competitive baseball fields. Triangle renovated the soccer stadium including artificial turf and added new concession buildings. Additional athletic improvements were completed including a new competition soccer field, running track, football field, two multi-purpose fields and basketball and tennis courts. New parking lots were added at the middle school to support the additional athletic and educational capacity.

Acoustics By Design

Acoustics By Design worked with GMB Architects and Engineers to consult on comprehensive room acoustics, mechanical noise control, and audio-visual design for the renovated auditorium at East Kentwood High School. The 1600-seat auditorium is heavily used for performing arts events as well as community activities. Our professional engineers used a 3D computer modeling program called EASE to predict the sonic attributes of the space. With that data in hand, we designed a complete audio-visual system to work in tandem with the room's acoustical features. Our final report included technical drawings and specifications that optimized the capabilities of this new performing arts facility.
