Classic Engineering

This was a complete Design/Build Project of a spring water bottling plant. The building addition included both production area and warehouse area and LEED Silver protocol was followed. Pre-Cast Wall panels were used in the construction to meet a very tight completion schedule. We relocated existing concrete “tilt-wall” panels for the new expansion project.

Driesenga & Associates

Ice Mountain (a division of Nestle Waters) began construction of a new spring water bottling plant near Stanwood, Michigan in 2001. This plant was constructed to meet the growing demands of the bottled water market in the Midwest. Driesenga & Associates, Inc. provided construction materials testing and geotechnical engineering services throughout the course of construction of the plant and subsequent additions. Construction materials testing included: asphalt, soils, concrete, masonry and steel testing and inspections. Geotechnical engineering services were also provided. A subsurface exploration was conducted, outlining subsurface soil conditions, and recommendations for development of the site foundation construction.

Exxel Engineering

EXXEL ENGINEERING did civil engineering design of utilities, site grades, building grades and worked with the General Contractor to obtain approvals and permits. We worked with the M.D.E.Q. to define wetlands limits. We provided construction staking of the building, site grading, utilities, roadways and fences for various contractors.
