Description
This $1.9 million facility was constructed for a consortium of four area hospitals. Satisfying all four entities throughout the eight-month project was a key to its success. Value engineering enabled Muskegon Construction Company to trim over $100,000 from the budget, providing owners with excellent value while maintaining the highest level of quality. Features: • A skylight runs the length of the expansive lobby to provide an abundance of natural light. • Comforting color schemes and furniture that feel residential in nature • Single-story, all-brick facility • Six-foot thick concrete ceilings and 8.5-foot thick concrete walls provide a safe containment for the powerful rays of the accelerator used to treat patients • Designed to accommodate a second future accelerator
