Description

CSM Group acted as construction manager for St. Michael's Family Life Center addition project.  The project included a new 22,500 square foot building with a pre-engineered metal structural frame with split-face masonry veneer. 

The building features clerestory windows at the circulation corridors and new focal entrance canopies for both the existing church and the new day school.  The building has multiple uses but houses a kindergarten through eighth grade Lutheran day school as a primary function.  The building includes nine new classrooms, a media center, a multi-purpose room sized for a middle school gymnasium, a kitchen and an administrative office suite.  Site improvements included a new parking lot for over 200 cars, playgrounds, and landscaping and utility rework. 

CSM worked with St. Michael from the project's conception, through planning and design and then into construction to help the Church ensure the project stayed on budget.

The project architect was Tower Pinkster Titus of Kalamazoo.  The project completed in May of 2004.
