Description

Design plus provided architectural programming, design through construction administration services for this new 160,000 SF production/development manufacturing facility for the Gentex Corporation. The project also includes a 110,000 SF Corporate Center including corporate offices, presentation rooms, cafeteria, fitness center, and additional corporate support elements, as well as minimal renovations to the office and engineering areas of the existing Centennial Street facility, and development of adjacent site areas to support drives, parking, entries, and other site elements. Estimated construction cost is $35,000,000 and was completed in June of 2006. This project received several Associated Builder & Contractor Awards in 2007 including Interior Finishing – Over $1 Million, Millwork, Flooring; Electrical – Over $1 Million; and Audio Visual.
