Description

This project consisted of 1.126 km of grading, drainage, bituminous roadway reconstruction and water main alterations on East Paris Avenue, North and South of M-6, and construction of new structure, M-6 under East Paris Avenue, in Gaines Township, Kent County, Michigan. As a subcontractor to Davis Construction, Driesenga & Associates, Inc. supplied contractor staking which included bridge footing and wall layouts, pier layout, slope staking, pavement layout, utility layout and as built topographic surveys. In addition, Driesenga & Associates, Inc. also supplied Davis Construction with quality control construction materials testing of concrete. The testing included: slump, air checks, temperature, casting compressive strength cylinders, and yield calculations.
