Description

A planned commercial development consisting of a 114-room hotel site and three (3) outlots on a 9.5-acre parcel, located adjacent to the $550 million Honda Motors plant in Greensburg, IN. The site includes the city’s newest hotel, a Hampton Inn & Suites. The Worthington Group will manage the hotel, which will cater to business travelers, and the three additional retail outlots are oriented toward family dining, highway service and other retail businesses. Driesenga & Associates, Inc. (D&A) is involved in the full scope of our services from geotechnical soils investigation, topographic survey, site engineering and construction documents to applications for the various local and state agency permits required for construction. D&A also completed design and engineering services for utility extensions and a commercial drive entrance complying with Indiana Department of Transportation specifications to serve the site. Throughout the construction phase, Driesenga & Associates, Inc. provided construction staking, utility as-builts and construction materials testing services.
