Description

This project consisted of construction of a non-motorized pathway including new retaining walls, new pavement, curb and gutter, timber piles, benches, lighting and wooden boardwalk. The alignment of this section of pathway runs under M-104 involving an innovative design and coordination with MDOT. Driesenga & Associates, Inc. performed the complete survey, design and construction engineering for a combination bituminous and concrete pathway and wooden boardwalk along the waterfront in Spring Lake, MI. Services provided included plan preparation, bidding services, permit application, construction management and inspection, and grant application assistance to the MDNR.
