Cherry Street Health Services
Cherry Street Health Services wanted the benefits of an IP Telephony Phone System. They have multiple locations and needed extension dialing, easy MAC (Moves, Add’s and Changes), call detail reporting, central administration, and flexible call distribution.
Cherry Street called on Parkway to provide a comprehensive plan to design and build the system for multiple phase implementations. Additionally, we needed to use the existing data network to carry voice traffic to the multiple locations. In other words, they needed a large scale fix and they needed the project to be non-disruptive. Cherry Street Health Services has several phones at their Ferguson Health, Ferguson Dental, Westside Health and Montcalm Community Health Center. They also have 125. Phones at their main location including the Administration Building next door. Part of the plan was implementing a complicated phone tree using multiple languages, but there was more than that. The system needed to be designed for flexibility. Adding a new phone needed to be a simple matter of plugging a phone into a data port.
The result was multi-site connectivity with administration from a central location, extension dialing between six of their eight locations and a successful, smooth transfer from the old to a new, fully functional award winning system.
