Classic Engineering

Three level, 60,000 square foot addition to existing surgical center, with 10,000 square foot parking garage. Classic Engineering provided HVAC and plumbing engineering, including fire protection for the white box. All systems were new and dedicated to this addition. Heating and cooling was accomplished with water source heat pumps in a traditional boiler/tower design. All heat pumps were installed during construction, for tenant fit-out that occurred right after building completion. Radiant floor was installed in the main atrium and snowmelt tubing was provided for all the sidewalks. Runtal flat panel radiators were provided in the stairwells for aesthetics.

The Architectural Group

The Grand Valley Surgical and Diagnostic Center was designed to create a soothing atmosphere for the patients and their families. The waiting area includes a cafe style deli/restaurant and movie theatre. The outpatient surgical and diagnostic center includes: Radiology, Pharmacy, and 20,000 sq. feet of Office Space.
