Exhibits

Mekus Tanager creates Exhibit Designs that are communication tools. We approach each exhibit with the visitor in mind. What will they already know about the subject? What is their age? What is their background? By communicating the message on more than one level, we can reach a wider audience, from the sophisticated aficionado to the complete novice. Our project teams strive to inject a sense of excitement and discovery into the exhibit experience. We create project teams that fit the exhibit content including writers, historians, graphic designers, film makers, programmers, artists, interior designers and architects working in a wide variety of mediums. Mekus Tanager believes that an interdisciplinary team approach leads to richer, more creative solutions.

Pragmatically we also look at the fundamental issues that shape successful exhibits. How long will the exhibit last? How many visitors at a time? Will this be a one time or multiple visit experience? Do any of the items on display need special acoustic, environmental or lighting controls. Our Designers work with the Client to answer these questions with solutions.
