Description
As part of O-A-K's 120th Anniversary celebration, we revamped our downtown Grand Rapids office. We have been located downtown since our founding in 1891.
Project scope includes new HVAC, new electrical, all new finishes, relocation of the entry to the corner of Ionia & Crescent, and reconfiguration of the entire interior, creating a large community-room, 3 conference rooms and open-office concept workspaces.
State-of-the-art technology is incorporated throughout the entire building. Flat panel monitors, tech-hub furniture and an integrated speaker system for training sessions were installed to help facilitate collaboration.
Before renovations, closed offices around the perimeter of the building allowed minimal daylight into the building's interior. The new design will bring fresh daylight into all workspaces.
Project is seeking a high-level LEED certification.
