Description
Grand Valley State University’s Allendale campus presents a dramatic entrance archway spanning 80 feet. This copper-clad structure was built of steel and wood. Using two cranes, the arch was hoisted as one piece onto it’s decorative brick piers. The archway represents the front door to the campus.
