Description

This two-story office and showroom facility for Stiles Machinery combines the cost benefits of pre-engineered metal construction with the traditional values of conventional construction to create an architecturally-pleasing structure that is also very functional. The 57,500-square-foot complex includes a 33,000-square-foot manufacturing area with showroom, training areas, mezzanine and 23,000 square feet of office space. The showroom and mezzanine area are located in the pre-engineered metal portion of the facility. Exterior finishes include masonry veneer combined with insulated metal panels, integrated with the curtain wall and lots of glass to provide natural lighting for the office areas. Skylights are located throughout, including a skylight above the center elevator shaft - a unique feature for a building of this scope and purpose. In contrast to the sleek, modern design of the exterior of the building, the interior is accented by variety of natural woods. This has created the feel of a "showroom" throughout the building.
